I am giving this restaurant a four, but it's not because of the food so much as the friendly and nice service. We arrived on a Saturday night with a reservation and were quickly seated. They brought us appetizers promptly and throughout the meal checked on us regularly. Now I've been to Greece and am an expert on Greek food. This was NOT the best Greek food, much heavier, more greasy, meat tough, and very little feta cheese on my small sized salad. The kabob meat was not tender for me nor my friend. The lemon potatoes were pretty good, as was the veggy moussaka. We LOVED how they brought us fresh fruit at the end, something that I'm not sure they do with everyone, but it made the heavy food easier to digest. I would like to see them get more healthy...better quality feta, real olive oil, real bread (the garlic bread tasted like sweet CHALLA BREAD drenched in garlic and oil). The owner needs to go spend time in Crete or somewhere in Greece and see why these people live so long! Also, not sure why they serve clam chowder, it was good, but a bit out of place. The atmosphere was lively and clean and again, my favorable review is mostly on the service and setting. I would not go here for an authentic Greek meal, however. I might return though, just knowing that it's more of an american dining experience.

Friendly neighborhood bar frequented by local hip office crowds. Old but charming atmosphere. Decent food serviced with a smile -- the menu is limited though. Recommendation: steak.

If you really know me, you will know that champagne is my favorite varietal. With the complexity and bubbles how could you go wrong? (Bubbles make me happy!) That being said even with the mixed reviews I had to check this place out. I know a lot of people don't seem to like this lounge but in all honesty I am not here to dance and I am not here to meet guys. This is NOT a club. I am solely here for the wine and there selection is actually quite good. I wish the staff here was more knowledgeable about champagne, like how much to fill the glass and not to shake the bottle around before you open it. The decor is dark lighting with deep red couches and candles. It would be a lot more soothing if the band they had wasn't playing so loud. All in all, I think this just attracts the wrong crowd trying to be a club scene. It has potential to be a really great wine bar. Come because you love champagne not because you are trying to get f@*ked up and laid.
