by Erick J. on I was convinced by a coworker to finally check this place out and I had a pretty ok time. I walked by this place a couple times before realizing this was the place I was looking for as the name is actually Davio's G-Lounge, with Davio's taking up the majority of the sign. I had to wait until 10:30 to get in as there was a private party taking place, but it was free until 11. When you walk into the building you go immediately downstairs to a door with no sign or indication that you are going the right way, but once inside you are greeted to a very nice night club This is easily the most interesting club I've been to as it used to be a bank complete with safes that act as VIP rooms. I was won over by the decor which had large wall fountains with blue lights, some sort of LED wall and 3 main bars. There is plenty of seating throughout the lounge and good music. There are a few 50in HDTV's scattered around that were playing the movie Training Day all night. The drinks were $10 for mixed drinks which I don't think is too bad and they are very generous with the alcohol. The only gripe I have with this place is the fact it can get pretty crowded. There was an even number of men and women here with the overall age average being about 25. Everyone was dressed fashionably and no one was sloppy drunk. However some people had a problem with staying still and were constantly running laps around the place which got pretty annoying. This place is pretty nice and as long as you show up early and dress appropriately, you're in for a good time
