Came to Circle with my friend who had just moved to the city from ATL. I've been in NY for 3 years and never stepped foot in this place. I'm thinking...well at least I'll get a cultural experience, never having been to an all Asian club, except in Korea. LOL. It's me and my girlfriend and I invite a guy I hardly know last minute. It's around 11:30pm on a Saturday night and we actually don't have to wait very long. Like 2 minutes. My girlfriend and I were kinda expecting to pay cover, but I think they just took our cover and made the guy pay, who ended up shelling $40. Sorry bud. He ends up buying our drinks too which he tells me later is like $11 for a vodka tonic. Yikes. The place is pretty big  and the dance floor is not too crowded but defintely gets packed like sardines pretty soon. I thought the music was really good but like every else says, WAY TOO LOUD. When we left the club, you get that hazy sound like after you have just left a concert. Didn't really notice any other guys b/c I was mainly dancing with the guy I invited and my friend was getting groped by some dude until we saved her. But she did say the guys were better looking than the ones she normally sees?? My friend also accidentally stepped on some girl and got the death stare which almost turned into a fight. Exciting stuff. If you like Asian people, getting drunk, getting rubbed up against while dancing, and have no qualms about how much you spend when you go out, then this is your place!

I loved everything about the Frying Pan, especially for daytime drinking, until they ran out of ice before 7pm. We sucked it up and got one last bucket of Coronas, but the boys were not putting up with warm beer so we quickly moved on to Boat Basin. I would've given it four stars if it hadn't been for the ice (which has happened to my friends there before). Also, we were charged varying amounts for buckets of Coronas. I paid $35, one guy paid $30, another paid $32. I don't understand that. Different bartenders charge different prices maybe? Not cool.

OMG, I remember coming to the Endup many years ago (ack shhhh...don't tell anyone how old I REALLY am!) And yes, it is still that way. Sundays are probably my favorite days. Where else can you go at 6am on a Sunday, continue your drink on and dance to the morning sun? What was crazy is that I used to live across the street from the Endup. My friends actually used to come over at 4am and kick it until the Endup was open again at 6am. Way too convenient. But it was always a blast.
