Classic, nice looking women and geared toward the male. I usually like heading to this place on a nice weekend afternoon and partaking in some beverages and checking out the sites of the pretty ladies. Yes, you have waitresses in skimpy outfits, ladies at the bar jockeying for their sugar-daddy and your typical Buckhead sleazoids hanging out at the bar, but who cares; it's The Tavern and you're going to get that. The dining room is spacious, dark and classic. The bar area is where most of this activity is happening and it can get crowded. The food quality is above average and Peroni on draft is $5; which isn't terribly bad. I have heard comments which say that the drinks and food are too expensive. While it might be true, it's certainly not on the same level as other joints which offer less than spectacular food lesser of an environment. I had the burger which was cooked pretty well and to order. The fries were fresh cut and the overall quality was above other restaurants. What can be lacking are the friendliness and promptness of the waitresses. It can fall short when it becomes busy and crowded. The prices are moderate for what you can expect from a place like this.

Mynt, which is a part hip-hop, majority electronica place is full of wealthy euros, leggy blondes and overall young partiers. Huge pictures of Giselle fill the walls with a long bar on one side. Bar service is low as people strain to get drinks. However, all the tables and podium dancing make this place a great place to dance and get a little wild. Although I heard about a strict door policy Miami is all about looking good. Dress to impress and you're in.
