Came here on a Saturday with a group of girlfriends, which was actually pretty fun. There's two rooms, one has more of a dance floor, and the other is more like a lounge. Drinks are expensive and small as usual, but shouldn't really matter if you're a girl. The crowd is very diverse and music is mainly hip hop. Luckily we got to cut the line since we knew a promoter. Once we were let into the club by the bouncer, I saw the bouncer look/point at a different promoter that brought a couple of other girls and mouth, "are you kidding me? no" Wow... stupid hollywood shit.

Varla rocked . . . Nikko's Rrazz Room not so much. We were able to catch Varla Jean's closing performance . . . sort of . . . at Nikko's Rrazz Room. Our table was so far forward we had to look behind the drummer's back to see the performance. The drummer apologized after the show . . . saying that during the entire run of the show, no table had ever been placed so far forward. The floor manager relayed our dismay to the Matradee; the word back - there's nothing we can do, besides you were Gold Star half price seats anyway. Selling seats from which you cannot see the performance is simply wrong.
