A 35 year landmark on Cheshire Bridge. This Italian eatery has been serving up dishes since 1974 and it does so with a staff of servers who have been working there for years. When you walk in here, it's as if you have been thrown into a time warp back to the 70's and you can picture a booth filled with Mob Figures enjoying their Italian Dishes. The dining room hasn't changed since the opening and the wood paneling on the walls is cool. The bar is small and the bartender serves up beer and mixed beverages. Be warned, this place does get packed and you will wait to be seated. What sometimes might suffer is service on a real busy night. But you will like the character and atmosphere of this place. Upon sitting at a table you are greeted by a food server who could be old enough to be your uncle. They 1st bring you out some pretty tasty garlic bread dunked in some butter and some pickled veggies. I could probably do witout those as it wasn't too inspiring. I guess people must like it as they have been doing this for years. I usually get the Breast of Chicken Francese. The chicken is dipped in egg batter, sauteed in butter, lemon, and white wine sauce. It 's a delectable dish and one of my favorites. Also try the Scampi Alfredos, it is a delectable dish. Also try the Alfredo Scampi. It is jumbo shrimp baked in garlic butter and herbs, served over angel hair pasta. Very good as well. The pricing and service is what you would expect from a restaurant like this. If you are in the mood for some Italian food off of Cheshire Bridge Road. This is the spot to check out.

Came here on a Friday night after trying Guesthouse, which sucked. We got in right away w/ no cover around midnight. There wasn't even a line. (I don't understand why people worry so much about the door. If you don't want to deal with it, just get there early!) The set up is cool if you're getting bottle service / there with a group of people because the leather benches are set up so each group gets their own little space. But there is no main dance floor or open space, so it's hard to move around or find a spot to dance in that isn't in the way of everyone trying to get by. Loved the DJ. He played mostly hip hop with a few rock songs. As I recall he didn't play a lot of extremely current songs, but a lot of great throwback rap songs. So in the end I didn't get to dance to some songs I really wanted to dance to, but enjoyed the music anyway. The crowd was early 20s to early 30s and in a festive mood. It seemed like everyone was having a good time with the people they came with. Not as much random mixing between people as other clubs... which can be good or bad depending on your preferences. ;) Did not like the smoking though, and yeah it's overpriced. $4 for coatcheck and $12 for a vodka tonic.
