Our company had a launch event for one of our games way back when in April '10, so a few of us got to come in and check out and set up the spot before all the craziness ensued. The club itself is an unmarked black door, so you won't know where it is unless you see a door guy in front. The space itself is pretty swank. Booths all over the place, spacious bar, and a nice VIP area in the back with pool tables and some more couches to lounge around in. Parking was pretty easy as well, with a pretty cheap valet right in front. There's also the obligatory smoking section outside, which was packed to the gills at all times. I wouldn't go out there unless you want your clothes to smell pretty stank. Bartenders were super quick in getting drinks to us, and our hostess handled our requests for bottles and shots all night long like a champ. We had our fair share of celeb sightings throughout the night, but we were too busy working our stations and making sure no one stole any of our games before launch to mingle. Overall, Trousdale was an extremely fun experience. I don't know if I'd come back if I was pretty broke, as all the drinks and what not would get pricey without all of our comps, but if I had a bit of change in my pocket and i was feeling like I needed to get star struck then I'd gladly show up here again.

One of my favorite clubs in San Francisco... It's big enough to avoid the douchebags...and small enough to walk around! If you want to come...better come on a weekday or come early on a weekend...or know somebody to avoid the stupid line.

Good assortment of foods, very friendly/helpful service, awesome atmosphere.  Definitely worth checking out, but keep in mind it can get quite expensive.  The appetizers were delicious, as were the desserts.  My only gripe is that the Sea Bass was a bit tasteless (hence the loss of 1 star).
