When i first came here i was astonished at how great this place was. I haven't been amazed by a lounge in a really long time but this place did that! Great people and drinks are on the pricey side so you can't be cheap here. A lot of business people come here so ladies dress to impress and you won't regret it : )

Saturday night at Vessel was one hour I will never get back. This place is terrible, a total disaster. Upon walking up to the door of the club, I asked the man in front if there was a cover charge. He replied, "Yep, $20 but for you $40." Him and his greasy bouncer friend shared a sweet moment of joy. I didn't get mad, as of I knew this was simply a bouncer who fit the stereotype. The staff inside the club was equally unclassy. No wonder this club has 3 stars. Whoever manages, or owns this club, cares very little about its customers. I'm the kinda guy that when I spend upwards of $100 out for a night, I prefer a place that caters to its guests and looks to show them a good time. The music and interior of this joint are mediocre. I get the feeling the average person who comes to Vessel has never been to a club before. There are so many other great clubs in this city. I recommend you avoid this place like the plague.

Poppin on Saturday nights. Cover is a modest $15 after 11pm. I would definitely be back. Unpretentious crowd, everyone's here to dance and have a good time. No stuntin', no big egos, none of that pompous/prissy bullsh*t that plagues many venues in this city. I came here w/my boy Stoney, his clubbing companion, and a friend. The place is so cool you can bust out your wicked dance moves, and everyone's in their own world so no shame in your game. I was just doin' my thing, and I hear Stoney shrieking, "Do the donkey kong! *LOL*" I don't know if there will be an encore performance of that. I'm not even sure how Donkey Kong would look dancing. But Stoner insists, I was donkey kongin' it. Come enjoy house music. I think David Garcia on Powertools has far liver radio mixes, but hey, this place is still very cool. Drawback: Valet Parking: $10. Open 'til 4am. Redbull $5. They do serve ice water. Two very good points in my book!
