by Fifi L. on I love that at first glance it looks like you've stepped into a club, but sans the attitude. The staff is awesome and so is the large beer list and menu! Nothing makes me happier than having a great juicy burger and fries with an ice cold beer, and this diamond in the rough has nailed it!

Well except for the part where people get to tickle the starfish with one hand while holding an adult beverage over the touch tank, seems like an accident waiting to happen. I hope Mr. Hermit Crab doesn't get poisoned by Mr. Anchor Steam)! Crowd was more science-y than your average SF happy hour scene, so if you've been looking for people that might share your excitement for that new article in New Scientist this might be your place...
by Demarcus Lepine on Mood is pretty small, and has the same owner as the Garden of Eden and Opera. The smoking area seems like it's inside the club, but if you look up, there are vents. From my experience, the crowd is a little ghetto, but my girlfriends LOVE it and go almost every Thursday if they can. I think they just go because of another ghetto scene. . .the ghetto dog cart right outside on Hollywood blvd. Oh, and because one of the bartenders is in love with one of my gfs, he gives us a disgustingly good discount for all of our drinks. We also know a few of the promoters, so even if it's past the 10:30 guestlist closing time, we can still find our way in for free :o) I've never had to pay to get into a club, and it's not worth it if I have to.
