by Krista K. on I love this place! Red House Pizza has great, fresh pizza and amazing happy hour prices--half price pizza from 5-7! You can get a pizza large enough to split with at least one other person for around $8. I had a birthday party here and they were very accommodating with plenty of seating at the picnic tables outside, as long as you get there fairly early. Also, there is plenty of parking in the lot out back. Some of the pizza's with meat can be a little on the greasy side, but still delish. My personal favorite combo is the artichoke with olives, feta, mozzarella, and pesto on a thin crispy crust. accompanied by a frosty michelada. Get there around 5 if you want to get a good seat for people watching!
by Royce Cerutti on This is what you should consider before going to Suede: Actually I'm giving them a star for the large dance floor and a second one upstairs (which no one cares to dance on) 1. Sound System totally sucks! (Not bassy) 2. The dance floor is filthy, sticky with drinking glasses all over the floor, torn money ( a hood thaing I take it) which I don't appreciate or understand why you whould want to do that. 3. Too Ghetto 4. The crowd is not diverse enough. Too many FOBBY people, teeny-boppers galore, dressed like hoochie-mamas. (like wannabe import models) 5. Way overpriced!!! $20 per person...good god! No matter if you're on the guest list. 6. Could not understand a word of what the guest performers were saying due to the radio shack mics. 7. There is no fan or circulation to blow the smoke (and weed) fumes out. 8. Frequent breakouts of fights by guys trying to prove themselves. I was ashamed to be Asian for some moments in there. However all in all, the people sure know how to dance. I should have Rateclubed Suede before I got there, I would have gone to another venue and had more fun. The music was not bad, the lighting was too bright, the videos were OK. The 2 floors were decent, but no one was upstairs which was a waste of space. It would have been nice to be dancing upstairs to alternative music. The security was actually pretty good. They were big dudes and stopped the fights in no time. I won't be going back to Suede until then management changes some things around. Good luck Suede.
