by Jessica M. on this place is a treasure in philly. really makes a nyc transplant feel right at home!!! the service is impeccable, the space is great, and i have NO complaints. be adventurous.. if youre going to spend $12 on a drink then get the bartenders choice! the other cocktails are fun however why not give an expert mixologist your palate's favorite stimulus and see what they can come up with?! their training was very intense and i think they had to learn something like 1000 different cocktails during training.. i cannot wait to go back to RR! :) -jecarosenose
by Audra K. on I have been wanting to go to SCK for a couple years but just had not made it there and when Groupon offered a deal for this place, I said that we finally had to get our butts there. I'm so angry with myself that it has taken me so long to go because this place is tops!! As most of the reviews already state, the service is wonderful and warm. This place has an upscale feel without being stuffy, Cocktails are a bit pricey but wine is in the norm. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and of course they were incredible. We skipped the salad even though they were offering a watermelon salad that sounded wonderful. Between us we had the pork chop and the scallops with bacon, both of which were perfect! The scallops were on top of an amazing risotto. And for dessert we had the bread pudding...yum! The crowd is quite mixed which makes for great people watching. If you're looking for upscale Southern cuisine, this is the only place for it! Do not wait two years before going to SCK as I did, that would just be a shame!
by Stevie Ribot on I think I've been inspired to start exercising again, because if these *girls* can get abs like that then gosh darn it, so can I!! The drinks were delish, the food was ok, but who cares when ur staring at someone jiggle their butt in front of u?! Block off about an hour to hang out downstairs - whether you're down there to watch crazy old ladies dance drunkenly on stage, or watch innocent birthday kids get violated, it's awesome entertainment.
