by Jackie L. on Mmmmm minus 2 stars for not having ANY of my 20 friends on the guest list even though we signed up through 2 different websites and also received confirmation emails. Manor West really needs to promote their guestlist on their actual website. I'm not sure how everyone else got on! We had to show our confirmation emails on our iPhones to the "boss" and luckily he was nice enough to finally let us in right before 11PM. I didn't pay much attention to the crowd, but i THINK the male/female ratio was really off, as with most clubs anyways. Pretty good music and there was a live performance as well, but I didn't stay for too long since my brithday friend was kicked out by 12AM. I have to say, the bouncers were SO NICE! They allowed my friend to puke all over the front side area of the club, and even let me and other friends back into the club to look for our other friends without checking any IDs. Guess they have good memory of who's who?
by Sarah S. on Veggie Flaquities are Amazing. Tortilla Soup is delish. Mex-marts are great (tho not as good as they were about 10 yrs ago b4 they got busted by TABC). Still, drinks are very yummy. Great chips and salsa, very cilantro/garlicy! (Im the kinda gal that Loves Polvo's salsa). Their veggie options aren't just beans and cheese, w/ but spinach, mushrooms, and peppers, ect! Yes! It's hard to find a place to sit on the outside patio. Hell, this is Austin baby! I Always ask if I can share a table like when there's only 2 ppl at one and the other patrons scoot over and are understanding. Vice versa I always share my picnic table w/ ppl if there's room since I know seating can be a problem. At least there's plenty of parking in the lot across the street.
by Tera Landingham on Great hangout! Free popcorn, dartboard, pool tables, (good) cheap beer. Don't try eating here though, everything's microwaved. Crowd can be kind of off some nights though.
