by Sarah H. on I went to Havana Club on a Saturday night around 11:30pm or so, and if it weren't for a friend having a connection which could get us past the line, I would not wait in line. The line outside was ridiculous, and the line to valet park also was really long. In summary, I wouldn't wait in line for this place. I think the line outside gives you the impression it's amaze-balls inside, and really, it's not. Yes, the ladies are skankified, but not all of them. I wore a short-ish dress, and didn't feel too out of place, but there were definitely girls here dressed more appropriately for South Beach. There are three rooms, the main room played your top forty, a Latin room and a house room. I liked the Latin and main room the most. There is smoking indoors, but not too bad. Towards the end of the night it got kind of ridiculous, and there was literally no room to dance on the main floor. At one point I just felt too claustrophobic and had to break away to get some air. I wouldn't go back for these reasons: I'll probably have to wait in line a ridiculous amount of time, the crowd seems overall a little sleazy and the place gets way too crowded to be enjoyable.
by Alan Meola on Fun Spot to blow off steam while enjoying a cold one and listening to a great variety of today's top mixes. Good looking women everywhere. To bad I had to work on my first visit here.. I could have had twice the fun if I didn't have my camera equipment. I recommend this spot highly. It's where the fun happens on or off the bar. Enjoy and have a great time!
