by Mike G. on I was on this place on april 18th for the first time to see Frankie Vasquez with Johnny Polanco. There were not too many people in the restaurant around 10:30pm and I had gotten tickets before which I payed $30 for both (but they charged me $36 and I didn't know which showed in the CC statement). However, I was decently dressed but the bouncers said because my jeans were "ripped" I did not meet the standarts for the club. I asked for my refund later on and I observed that other patron after me approached and had ripped jeans, but they did let him in. I think he was either a regular or they discriminated me for unknown reasons. Of course, I told the bouncers why that had happened and they were really impolite and mean. I am not coming back ever to this place, music seemed to be okay but even in this recession I don't think any business should refuse a new customer. There are so many better places for saturday night and I woul not waste my time driving to Alhambra ever again.
