One of the best club/lounges! I was here on Saturday 2/5. Arrived there around 1045ish and got in right away with $20 cover charge, they do accept credit card. There were a lot of ppl there but the venue is really large--dance floor, upstairs balcony, side rooms, and spacious outdoor courtyard--so it didnt feel crowded. They have chocolate covered strawberries, and also free tacos at the back of the courtyard. They didn't run out of tacos until just about closing, perfect! When you first walk in there is a large fountain and tons of benches to sit on and fireplaces to keep you warm. The side rooms have tons of sitting areas, and its a really comfortable/clean lounge-y area. There's a stage with dancers all night on the dance floor. Overall tons of space where ppl can stand/sit around and take a break. Music was really good. A little bit of top 40 but mostly electro and house. Definitely a mixed crowd. Good for groups def, but def even for couples.

Bootie is what SF partying is all about. I stumbled upon Bootie with some other friends and fell in love. The music is amazing, "it's like opening a present...you think you're getting something but then a few seconds in it's something totally different!" Everyone who's there is there for a good time. You have Mission hipsters, trendy Marina inhabitants, North Beach frat boys, gay Castro boys and everything else in between. Cover is $12 but you can get in for $6 if you get in before 10p. They also giveaway free CDs to the first 100 people. Smash Up Derby is the in house band and I'm going to have them play at my wedding...no lie. I highly recommend anyone go to Bootie at least once, if you're visiting from out of town definitely put it on your list for a true SF experience.

Makka Mondays is all I'm sayin'. Go get your drink ON, dance like mad and come 9am on Tuesday morning, hope you can drag your ass through the work day. $3 cover I think.
