Nicks Crispy Tacos just might be my favorite spot for the famous crispy fish taco. I came here with a few buddies on a Tuesday and it wasnt anything close to what i expected. the line was out the door and the place was jam packed. this place was crackin'.. Nicks is basically a small portion of the venue in the corner. it shares the same venue with the lounge/ nightclub Rouge. this place was huge but with barely any room to walk. We ordered a bunch of tacos and nachos. The other tacos were ok but  the most favored is definitely the fish. and these tacos arent your ordinary small tacos. they were some big boys in my opinion. two will do you good, but one is just perfect. i agree with some of the rateclubsers with the price but personally, i think its worth it. its pretty damn good.  and luckily we came on a tuesday because it was $2 tacos for all except the fish taco! the fish taco was $4.95 plus .95 cents to make it "Nicks Way" Basically, Nicks is the place to be at, especially on a Tuesday! Cheers to beer and fish tacos.

HOW TO BE DRUNK WITHOUT A WAIT 1) Designate a DD. 2) Fill your flask with your fav throat burnin' liquid. 3) Park and pour it down the 'atch, Arrrr! 4) Enter at least one hour after doors open 5) Drunkards2B head to balcony 7) Do NOT enter bar line ("HOLD!" shouts William Wallace) 8) Situate self close to bar ("Stand your ground!" yells Aragon) 9) Once main act begins, line dissipates. 10) Order away ("Give them nothing! But take from them everything!" screams King Leonidas)

I checked out Justice at Mezzanine last week and had a great time.  Awesome DJ set - whoever books talent for Mezz is definitely doing a good job! I showed up around 11 pm and avoided all lines.  The only annoying part of the night was how ridiculously crowded the venue was.  I started out in the middle of the dance floor, but it was so packed and the crowd was so pushy / crazed that I felt like I was in the middle of a mosh pit.  And what's up with half the people immediately around me that were jostling me around and going crazy being not much more than 5 feet tall?  It was like all the Smurfs crawled out of the woodwork and decided to go moshing at Mezzanine. If you're coming for a concert and you don't like to be plastered in other people's sweat, I would recommend staking out some prime real estate in the balcony overlooking the club.  Good bird's eye view and easier access to drinks from the bar upstairs as well!
