Nice Asian-inspired decor. Drinks were good. Interesting co-ed bathroom. Good-looking people there, too. Plus! Convenient area right by Muni/Bart stops/Union Square. Can't give it more stars, because the music was a little bit too much House music for me, since I prefer hip hop, but not bad. Felt some A/C on the dance floor, too, which was nice.

OMG... This place is still here? I haven't been there since the month they opened (and it was tough to get in) some time back. I'm sure there are better places around (as I'm not a fan of Disco's which this is), as i prefer lounges with killer DJ's, but... Its an awesome space (literally) . Glad i found it again on rateclubs!

There is no doubt that Ruby Skye is an absolutely beautiful venue with the best sound system in the city and brings in the biggest djs in the world, but why does it only get 3 stars from a serious clubber like myself? It breaks my heart to have to do it but first of all parking around that place is nearly impossible so there goes $12 for parking in the lot a block away. Second of all the crowd, while some do go for the djs, is mostly a B&T type of crowd that just wants to go to the "cool" place and hook up or be seen. To me a great clubbing experience starts with the crowd first, and like I said in my other reviews, I'm pretty good at ignoring it. And thirdly, I never had trouble waiting in line to get in before, but for some reason at Benassi it took me an 1 hr and 15 mins to get in. WTF? That's just ridiculous for any place. In all honesty I will most likely go to Ruby again, but that's only because some of the djs that I really want to see play there.
