Good beers on draught, decent prices $5-6/each. I have to confess that on this night, beer wasn't a priority but food was. And it was surprisingly great quality/totally hit the spot. The kenneth burger (medium) with cheddar and mushrooms was so juicy and had great meat flavor. It was simple by prepared really well. The burger came with fries and Cajun spices all over. It was totally unexpectedly delish. On top of that, we had sauteed green beans with blackened Cajun spices and a remoulade sauce that took the beans to another level. Chicken apple sausage was pretty good too, quite ginormous, with a heap of greens. Totally divey atmosphere with bartenders who seem like they've worked there forever.

As with any night club, your level of fun really is all about the company you are with. We headed over here on a Saturday night around midnight and after being carded walked right in. There was no line. Crowd was young, not very mixed. Music was a mix of everything from house to hip hop. What I liked about Nikki is the decor. It had plenty of comfortable seats and it had a very loungy feel to it. Drinks, of course as with any club are overpriced but made well. I was also really happy that we found a place to sit and were able to dance in the same area. It's a small place but I enjoyed my time there. I'd go again when I don't feel like venturing too far from home.

Morimoto is definitely the best sushi on the East Coast! The quality and variety of fish was impressive versus other restaurants in this market, as most places can't afford to have everything in stock on a nightly basis. For those of you who are serious sushi eaters, don't even waste your time in the dining area and just take a seat at the sushi bar. The head chef will take care of you and If he catches on that you actually know what you're eating or talking about, he'll throw in some rare goodies that aren't on the menu for you to try. As was mentioned in a previous review, the wait staff are eager to clear your area and really add no value when interpreting the menu. They have their talk track down and they spit it out like a seasoned telemarketer! The beer list was a bit disappointing, as I was hoping they'd carry a wider variety of Japanese brews, but was filled with the basics and some Morimoto microbrews. The sake list was more of the same and they didn't offer a traditional bottle service where they will hold the bottle for you until your next visit. Overall I was extremely satisfied and pleased with the experience. With all the modernistic cuisine for the clientele who enjoy the fluff, it's the traditional fare that really blows you away! **Omakase is a waste of time for those of you who know what you want and like. Just be prepared to throw down anywhere from $150-300+ for your meal.
