Nasty. The crowd - pretty sketch, a roofie waiting to happen But you know what? I actually had a lot of fun and wouldn't hesitate to return the next time I want to dance my face off after an 8 hour day drinking marathon.
by JP T. on They recently remodeled the upper area which is a host to nice restrooms, a pool table, and a dart board. The lower portion of the bar is a few bar tables accompanied by a medium sized area which people dance on. The clientele seem a bit out of my element, but Abbey tavern has never shown me a poor experience. [ + ] Something for everyone. Dance floor, semi-dive bar, pool, darts, and soccer! [ - ] Service may sag sometimes, but to their credit - they are pretty busy. Prices seem to be a bit sharp compared to the bitter end and alike bars just 1 block away.
