To all of you that slam places with dress codes: Just like fast food restaurants will always sell french fries, in a major metropolitan area like ours your going to find places with dress codes. Be happy we have the option to chose to go to an upscale place where you know people are going to be dressed nice. We also have the option to go to upscale places that don't have dress codes or to dive bars and even middle of the road type places. This isn't an appropriate reason to "One Star" or flame a place. I think Le Club does a great job. Bartenders are great and the food is outstanding, and the environment it top shelf...Getouttahere.

This bar has the lighting, the interior, the music, the interesting quasi-studnet-hipsters with the combination of International MIT students and local music aficionados . The cocktails are very tasty and creative .. You always see some drink made from a very obscure european liquor mixed with WHAT ...mmmm i've got to try it. Thursday nights MIN(Make It New) always have some of the best breaks. I believe the owners of the middlesex have also done Cambridge One in harvard sq, miracle of science (next door), and the Audubon ... all very fine establishments with seemingly a common theme of aesthetic sights and tastes.

Venu is a fun place to get funky....great DJs, but they really need to expand dance space, it gets a little crowded. Drinks are more expensive than they are worth, but the atmosphere is fun...bartenders and bouncers are nice and accomodating. Don't go if you don't like getting sweaty!
