by jacky k. on mmm its a very big venue but i LOVED the decor. it had that old english/victorian aura with gothic chandeliers and vines all over the place. very very cool. it wasn't as poppin as other clubs i've been to in hollywood but it still had a good amount of crowd. i went on a friday, i liked the music, the drinks were meh... all in all, i had a great time. it's one of the better ones ive been to, but not GREAT. ( i HATE HATE HATE opera with a passion... ) just in general though, all the clubs in la have been disappointing me... i still think clubs in sandiego are way better and more classy, but pleaaaaaaaase prove me wrong la!!
by JoJo C. on I work in the area and have gone on several occasions for Thursday or Friday happy hour drinks with a group of my co-workers. We are all in suits and fit in nicely with the other suits - so it works. If we get there around six we can usually get a nice section of there wrap around couch in the front. There are no drink specials but I love the free crudites plate they offer at the bar. The drinks are really tasty. They have a decent wine selection and some of the BEST mojitos! If the drinks were less pricey I would definately give them another star and go much more often for happy hour.
