by Laura D. on Oh, you know. Just another normal Saturday night for me and a few of my girlfriends. What to do...? What to do...? What else? Go to Harry Denton's Starlight Room!?!? Well, we thought it was funny and more than anything, random. Walking through the Sir Frances Drake, I felt like a tourist. Upon walking into da lounge, we were promptly seated. Music was booming- think, fun dance wedding music. I did appreciate the band's coverage of Earth, Wind & Fire and Michael Jackson songs. Rock on! It's very dark inside and I must say, the furniture is nothing luxurious (booths and chairs were ripped, old and worn), but the view....ahhh the View! The view of San Francisco is beautiful. You gotta go to Harry's at least once, just to see the view. The drinks were decent- I recommend the Napa Crush. The service was okay, however, I did not appreciate how the waitress charged our friend's credit card on file for the entire table's drinks prior to showing us an itemized receipt (seriously, WTF). It's touristy. But it's worth a visit, at least once. On a clear night.

I've been to Vessel twice now and have had a raging good time each time, especially this past Sunday with DJ Vice. Loved the music and danced the entire time. Sang along a few times when it got real good. I'll definitely continue to come back. Good music, mixed crowd, beautiful venue (although small with only one main dance floor)... and did I mention they let you dance on the tables?
