I went to Shout a couple of weeks ago for lunch since I was in the area and had such a good experience at Twist (they're sister restaurants under H2S). I had the steak and mashed potatoes (a bit extravagant for lunch but I like what I like). The steak was cooked perfectly and I absolutely adore the mashed potatoes. I ate every bit of both. My friend had the lobster and side salad which was both very good. I'm picky about lobster but it exceeded my expectations. I noticed the tables are placed very close together which would be uncomfortable on a busy night but luckily we were there around 2pm so it was near empty. Shout does have it's cons though. I called to reserve a table for 10 on a Saturday night for a birthday and was surprised at how many extraneous fees there were. For parties over 8 the hostess told me we each had to spend a minimum of $25 excluding the 20% added gratuity and tax. Bringing in your own cake would be a fee of $15. Valet is also $10+however much you normally would tip. Being a poor college student, I would rather skip the extra fees and go to a restaurant without so many restrictions. Overall all the service is good, the food is good, and the atmosphere is very trendy. It's a great place to go eat with a handful of friends, but maybe not for big groups if you're on a budget. -A

Preface: It's Sunday, my feet are still gnarled from my dance marathon on Friday night! Parking was $7, if you wanted your car close then it's $20. I chose the $7 and I'm glad I did b/c when I get to the door it's $7/person. I'm kinda annoyed at this point - this rinky dinky bar is trying to charge me $7! But as I started with, my $7 was way worth it. I DANCED THE WHOLE NIGHT AWAY. The music was the best I've ever heard. In fact, I was so hesitant to write this review b/c I dare not share this with the world of rateclubs and take my spot on the dance floor where the fan hits me so perfectly. But I figure there are already 102 reviews so it's no secret, obviously. Drinks are whatever. Not cheap, not expensive - just decent and what I expected from the Little Temple. I'd come back, it was the funnest Friday I've had a very long time. :)

Ok - it's officially this place is a well kept secret. I heard through the grapevine that it had reopened and I'd never been. I read all about it and decided it was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I invited everyone out and hoped that it would be fun - and it far surpassed my expectations. It's a little hidden - but if you just walk west to the end of 26th Street and keep walking to the water - you'll run right into it. It's a huge old resalvaged ship that is docked at Chelsea Piers 66. Surrounded by boats you slowly realize you are slightly rocking - but not enough to make anyone seasick! I didn't eat here - but immediately wished I had when I first walked onto the boat and spied a gigantic grill where people were getting burgers, fries & seafood. It looked so good. Past this was a huge 4 sided bar with no lines. And on the sides of the boat and in any space there were tables & chairs everywhere! The boat was pretty happening at about 10pm on a Saturday when we went. There is an amazing sky deck with tables and chairs overlooking the water and dock. Great view. And at the end of the boat there is a picturesque window paned backdrop with a raised platform where a dj was spinning really fun music. In front of him - a huge dance floor where people were getting down. There weren't any open tables that could seat as many people as we had - so we spied an empty area with tables & chairs stacked up and we made our own seating area. It worked out so well. The only downside was that the plumbing is not the best on this boat. The only bathrooms are downstairs and there was only one working ladies toilet at the time. But the breeze was amazing after a 95 degrees day! It was just fantastic and I will be going back several times this summer! They are open from noon to midnight/1am every day.
