We came on a weekday night for the food, not the jazz music. Both were equally palatable. The interiors were slightly strange. While comfortable, it felt a bit oversized and dispersed, with a bar way in back, the stage up front, and a smattering of tables and booths around. Combined with the high ceilings, it felt like it was trying to be a big jazz club in limited square footage; or, an intimate venue with a bit too much space. Regardless, the food was nice. Five of us shared a variety of appetizers and main dishes. Deep fried baratta was very comforting, and the Isaeli couscous deliciously moist. The sea bass wasn't anything unique to rave about. However, what stood out the most was the miso hen-- I believe baked, then fried. We were expecting a whole little hen but it came in 5-6 individual pieces, like an upscale fried chicken. I would go back for that.
