We stopped through FLIP on a recent business trip in the A. We didn't make reservations on a Tuesday evening and found a seat right away on the patio. I agree, the music is quite loud if you're sitting next to the speaker, as we were. I started out with the duck confit nuggets. First, I was surprised to see this on the menu, so I tried it. A little salty, crispy on the outside, but succulent duck goodness on the inside. Defintely beats standard fries at a burger joint. The the housemade ketchup broke down (oil separated), so it made the turkey burger a very sloppy. But sloppy can be good depending on your perspective. The turkey burger could have used more seasoning as it was on the bland side. The shrimp burger was nice and spicy - the clear winner between the two burgers we sampled. The green cucumber gin cocktail was delicious and very refreshing, as was the strawberry mojito.

The Crazy fish has been sold and is now called the Lyhres club - has a cajun feel with lots going on for night clubbing in port angeles - karoake - open mike - live music.

Feels a little "chainy" but what the restaurant might lack in innovation it makes up for in flair. Dramatic space, high ceilings, multi-level platform seating, sleek bathrooms, and GREAT DRINKS. Some appetizers are served in tiny Chinese take-out boxes. DJ always spinning great lounge music. The leftside lounge area by the bar is a more relaxed setting than the main dining room. Big comfy velvet seats and gothic tables. Try the fabulous coconut mojitos or the HELLO KITTY (butterscotch-based cocktail).
