by Erin S. on REALLY UPS!!!!!! Who in the world leaves a package on an apt complex porch in Chicago?????????? The package your driver carelessly left without trying to get a signature was a $150 Blackhawks throwback Marion Hossa jersey I got for my boyfriend as a surprise. All day I looked forward to seeing him call me on skype with the box in his hand jumping around like it was Christmas telling me how happy he is.... but you ruined that for me!!! in stead he found the box in our dumpster, the jersey gone and the rest of the evening was spent on the phone trying to figure out why ANYONE would just leave a package on an apt complex porch in Chicago instead of getting a signature!!!! You ruined this for me and I will avoid EVER using you again if I can. When I called your company they said " its up to each driver to decide if someone signs" well your driver in Lakeview chicago has bad judgment and now you have lost a customer and everyone I have told about your careless actions on Facebook!!! I will NEVER use your services again!!!!!!!!
by Corey Helling on Sam and Lindsay You heard me right. I was here to celebrate a booth with a good friend of a friend who was also frickin' awesome in being a host during a recent stay in NY. Of course, the night we all decided to go out dressed to the nines in the company of women was also the evening Sam Ronson was spinning. So imagine who did the appearance act right around 11:00 pm or so: Her girlfriend. Then imagine another five large bodyguards come to her rescue and stand as a perimeter wall shielding her from the bunch of twenty somethings clamoring for her picture and stepping on my toes. Yes, I confess, I felt old that night.....too old to deal with the Forever 21 crowd. Other than that, we went straight upstairs to our booth and purchased a $10 drink (Tokyo Tea) which went straight to my face and I turned the obligatory Asian blushing madly for oh-say about 30 minutes. Otherwise, Sam spun a good mix of Hip Hop/Techno/Dance/Top 40 hits that we found very easy to dance to and the flow of the music of smooth. I was impressed with her technique and choices. The dance floor was too packed. In fact, they should have had a limit on the number of people up there because I could hardly breathe, not to mention the number of ill mentionables intent on starting fights in their drunken state of being. However, I'd like to say that there was a good diverse crowd there that night, in addition to several groups of roving good looking guys out on a boys night. In addition, I'd recommend getting on the VIP list because for some people, paying a $15 cover charge is not too encouraging. Probably will go if Sam appears for another request, otherwise I'm keeping a lower profile.
