If you want a good discount at this place, go on a monday! $20 all u can drink and play! Drinks meaning basic hard liquor, beers and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks. Play meaning pool, ping pong and bowling. Bowling is the BEST deal there is since it costs up to that amount for the game. Remember to put your names down for all the games since there will be a line for them considering its a good deal for everyone and they all will wanna go bowling. Theres about 6 lanes i think. (Was a bit drunk to remember)... The music ranges from rnb to hip hop to spanish. There's an area to dance and lounge. The bar is pretty looking. I had the bad experience of seeing vomit on the bar table (most likely a dude taking advantage of the all you can drink special all night till 1am!)... Food is nibbles of all sorts from fries to pizza bites to chicken dippers. A bit costly for the food though. About $17 for 4 varieties but enough to share for 3 ppl I would say. Fri nights are cool too! Great location if you dont wanna trek to manhattan. Bring manhattan to queens in Play! It is so far the only place I feel good hanging out in that feels like I'm at a manhattan bar. Classy and good deal! Easy to get in. Just ID. Basic clothing rule but casual and cool! Enjoy!

If Dorchester has never seemed like a viable locale for your next date, DBar will surely change that. Located only a few blocks from the Savin Hill Red Line station, DBar is a find if you are looking to bypass Downtown crowds. It's unfortunate that they've taken the margarita with cayenne infused tequila off the menu, because it's one of the best margs I've ever had. Nonetheless, the cocktails are fun and are always perfect while chowing on the fried calamari "ménage a trios" with three dipping sauces or the ahi tuna ceviche. The dinner menu is something of an anomaly. None of the entrees go above $20, but options include seared diver's scallops and grilled hanger steaks. The décor adds additional warmth to the ambiance, with assorted gorges lining the perimeter of the room for Thanksgiving and roses displayed elegantly on each table for Valentine's Day. Be sure to check out DBar's website for additional details: a few nights each week, following dinner service, the restaurant transforms into a nightclub.

Actually it's pretty fun with a medium-to-large-sized group of friends. There aren't many places to bowl in the city. Pretty much here or Chelsea piers. Kinda pricey but more fun vibe than a nornal bowling alley. Glow in the dark bowing, lots to drink, decent crowd... why not? There's also a lounge upstairs (Pressure) if you get bored.
