by Roselle Failor on I've been to the Gloria's in Rockwall, and had a wonderful but pricey time there with my family two summers ago. Something with plaintains in one entree, and another entree with fish tacos were excellent. But I have absolutely no knowledge of salvadoran food. This Gloria's definitely has a beautiful interior, you'd really never guess it from judging by the looks outside. The prices aren't as bad as I expected it to be, but they are still more than what I'd like them to be compared to local favorite restaurants of similar taste in Austin already. My co-worker really liked her quesedillas, and I was completely surprised by the tamale. At just $2 bucks each, I wasn't expecting much, but it was actually really really awesome, and I like that it was wrapped and steamed in the banana leaf. The pork or chicken inside was tender, and it was just really yummy. Anyone who works in the Domain should really take advantage of just having a tamale for lunch, it's really bigger and more filling than you'd expect for $2. But, I haven't really explored the menu here very much so I can only give it 3 stars from knowing what others have had when I've eaten with them, and I do wish the happy hour included some food and not just drinks.
by Proud M. on We got in there right away thats was good but only bad thing is my phone didn't work cuz its underground place :( and i missed very importand call ..... After all i did have a good time ..... got to meet new ppl it was fun :)
