The drinks aren't special, and they are exorbitantly priced. BUT, if you get in on the guest list, I suppose it's not a complete wash. The decor is really chic, and guys can almost always meet some good-looking young lady to bring home and unwrap from her stylish clothing.

Capogiro is a delight. Fresh, fun flavors that tickle your taste buds. "Capogiro" means dizziness and giddiness and it does indeed make one feel that way after a visit. This is one of the best gelato places I've been to in the U.S. Go! Try the lime-cilantro and thai coconut milk combo. It might sound odd but the tangy and sweet just work well together, I promise. The dark chocolate is rich and dreamy and paired with cinnamon would be a winning combo. The olive oil tastes just like olive oil, subtle yet quite distinct. The grapefruit is a great palate cleanser. The other flavors I have yet to try. They do change them often, maybe even on a daily basis. They also use local ingredients and are just creative with the flavors. The true flavors really come out and the end product is quality. And one must pay a little extra for quality. I do not mind this, it's worth it for a once-in-a-while treat, but not economical for an everyday indulgence. So it's probably a good thing they are only located in Philly, because I can see myself becoming quite addicted. Oh, and the servers are very generous with giving out samples so don't be shy, try as many as you want! I went to another location last time, this is a newer one, but I enjoyed both.

Sound system: Almost as good as it gets, and along with the usually great lineup of DJ's, is Cielo's best selling point. Grade: A DJ's: Cielo does a good job of packing in the DJ's, though usually the best come around on the weekdays. For us suits, getting out and partying hard on a weekday usually isn't an option. Grade: A- Cover: Stop charging $20 covers on the weekend. You're not that cool. Grade: C+ Drinks: On par for the rest of MePa, overpriced and waterdowned drinks slung by overworked and couldn't give a shit bartenders. Grade: D+ Crowd: On the weekdays, it ranges from hipster to yuppie. On the weekends, it ranges from B&T trash to tourists from Nebraska who read about this place in a Lonely Planet guide. Grade: C-
