by Fidel Everding on I went there for my birthday recently because of all the great reviews I read on rateclubs. So I made reservations and had a guest list made a couple days in advance. However, when I got to the door, my reservation wasn't made. I had even called the day before to confirm the guest list and the time. After waiting outside in the cold for 20 minutes, the bouncer let me and the people I was with in. However, anyone who wanted to get in after that weren't let in. I left shortly seeing as how the majority of my party wasn't able to get in. It was a huge disappointment and effectively ruined my night.
by sungwon r. on wow! awesome awesome awesome place to see really good jazz! smaller and more intimate than yoshi's, great place for dinner too, semi-expensive, but really good food. but you can also just come for the music and drinks. i've been here twice and both times the service was excellent. very friendly staff and they treat you really well. i think i may want to start coming here as a weekly event! i hope it stays uncrowded so i'll always have the booth or a seat, but i fear it will blow up soon.
