Alrighty, gave this place a whirl because of the Texas Monthly article giving the Cover 3 "Chop House Burger" the 12th Best Burger in Texas honor. Good Burger, prepared just how I asked, nice presentation, good, not amazing. There are 3 or 4 other burgers I would say are a better burger than this in Austin, but thats neither here nor there. Anyway, very nice place, filled with dark woods, granite and flat screen TV's, upscale but still casual. The service was fantastic. I sat at the bar and had a few beers with my burger, the staff was friendly and promptly took my order and served me a drink. The place wasn't all that crowded, more people there for dinner, than drinking. Its more of a restaurant than a bar, think of it as a nicer 3rd Base with a smaller bar. 3 Beers and a Burger = 22 bucks plus tip, not bad, considering the type of establishment it is, not cheap either. All in all a good experience, I would eat there again.

This used to be "The Golden Cue" which was the place to see all all the pros play. My dad used to take me when I was a kid. Now it's a different vibe but the tables still remain. Aside from the billiards they have a nice lounge, bar even a bowling alley. Everything in there is brand new and the crowd was very mixed which was nice definitely a nice lounge and a good place to go when you don't want to deal with Manhattan.

This place may seem tight and cramped, but that only adds to the charm of the place! It lends a quite intimate feel, and makes a small crowd seem like it's packed like sardines. I usually hit this place up on Saturday nights, and let me tell you... the hunnies certainly roll up in style, dressed to impress. The only downfall is the location. It's kind of off the beaten path, so definitely DO NOT park on the street. I learned this the hard way. Luckily, there is an attended parking lot in close proximity that charges ten bucks, so no worries. Also, I forgot to mention... the system at this place absolutely SLAPS!!!
