by oriana c. on decent club, good location. I don't think it's worth to pay to get in. (i def. would not pay to come to this club, but that's just me) It's average. nothing "fancy".
by Lyman Maggert on False advertising for their new years eve party. It was the worst club setting I have ever been to. The venue is unique as it has an urban look from the outside, but inside it is basically a warehouse with windows facing toward the street. A single dancefloor with poorly stocked bars, I could not imagine a more egregious setup for the building. Combined with the poor setup (was NOT an open bar because the guy passing out tickets disappeared and drinks were limited to a subset of water-downed versions) and the disparity between what was advertised and what actually was going on, it was extremely disappointing. Quite honestly, with the amount they charged per ticket, I would think they would be liable for a lawsuit for ripping people off. I'm sure it is not the owner's fault for setting up that night, but it was their lack of judgment in picking the promoters to run their new years party that will prevent me and everyone that was at that party from ever booking or attending a club event at Terra.
by Michelle G. on Went here last night for an after work social. Given that it was 5:01pm when I arrived, the place was as empty as Paris Hilton's head on a good day. Yeah. However, I hung out with our event coordinator and the bartender recommended one of their non-menu "special" drinks, the passionfruit martini. I really can't remember what went into it but it was a bi-colored frou frou looking drink in a frou frou martini glass served up with a frou frou lemon wedge. How's that for descriptive. Needless to say, one sip and it was happy trails, one of those fruity drinks that don't hit you until you've had about a half dozen. And believe me, with this one, that ain't too hard. As for the decor, it's pretty hip. Love those hanging things (were they shells?) in the window. Very 70's chic. The lighting was dim and there were plenty of tables and booths. Of course, that's at 5:15 p.m. I'm afraid to know what it looks like during the peak of the weekend. But I'm sure I'll wander in with my bf when we're in the area and don't want to go to Thirsty Bear next door. I like how there is an upstairs and downstairs. However, I don't like how the bathroom is upstairs though cause man, when you gotta go, you don't wanna have to climb a bunch of stairs and walk about 37 more steps across the room. Cause that ain't cool.
