by Tasha S. on Came here with 2 of my girlfriends during Restaurant week. It was a friday evening. We were waiting for a 3rd person so we sat at the bar. When you walk in it reminds you of TAO a little. The decor is very nice. Fancy. Impressive place to take a date. I ordered the steak w/ potatoes which was pretty good. Portions arent that big but the quality of the food was fresh. We had an appetizer, entree, dessert, and shared a sushi roll. We were served edamame and the waiter tried to clear the table before we finished it. I love my edamame. I told him to put it right back. Some nerve. We were satisfied but not stuffed. Once we got the bill though I felt I should of had food coming out of my nose. This place screams Meatpacking District. One time deal. Will not be going again unless taken on a date. I don't care how Sex in the City my girls want to be.
by Altagracia Krinov on Shocking Cool! What? After a recommendation to go there had no idea what to ACTUALLY expect! Such a fun scene with cool socialites. An old theater transformed into a hipster late night scene. LOVE Crazy crazy acts that give you good stories at work the next day...And the performers are actually talented beyond the vulgar show! They run two shows a night but they don't start until late I think 12:30 and 2:30 (time gets lost in there).... Fun but definitely go with the right people
by Jason Y. on $12 for a 7 & 7? Get the f*** outta here. Not only was the drinks weak as hell they came in some dinky ass plastic cup. You know the ones that come in the 1000 pack that you buy from the 99 cents store. WARNING, WARNING!!!! If you get hammered and you have a tab open, make sure to look at the receipt because they charge 20% tip automatically and they leave a blank space there for you to tip "extra". I got 5 drinks and the check came out to almost $80 and I was sober as hell. The venue is fairly large and the outside patio was nice. Couldn't tell how the inside looked since it was so dark. The music from what I remember was the playlist to KiSS Fm and they repeated some songs over and over again which is pretty lame. I went on a Friday so other night may vary. In the end it's just another typical Hollywood club so if you been to one you've been to them all.
