by Stephano R. on Food is decent, but not a big fan of tapas style like here. But I do enjoy watermelon cocktail and swinging (birdnest look alike) chair. A good place to have few interesting cocktails and appetizer. But I wouldn't recommend dinner. Waitstaff was VERY particular about not seating us until everyone was there. My party was missing only one person. (I think it's awful to have people hang out in non-existent lobby when there are LOT of empty tables.
by Jerry Ridell on bOb suited us nicely for a Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. Get in just before ten, to sink at least one drink at the happy hour prices and snag a lounge along the wall... so later you can choose to either join the dancing, or just sit back and "people watch" in comfort. The DJ was great, and even with the music pumping loud to fuel the ever-more-crowded dancefloor, you can still maintain a conversation too. Even after happy hour, the drinks are well-priced by NYC standards, and the bOb bar staff are generous with their quantities. Sure it's small, but unless you have a football-team sized entourage, you should be good.
by Mathew S. on Ella is like that other Duff sister. She really wants to be cool and famous like her sister, Hillary, but she's just kind of busted and untalented. This place exists for a third or fourth tier of folk who aren't cool enough to make it on the lists elsewhere and/or aren't original enough to recognize what a sham it is. Can I give 0 stars??
