Anyways, Bouncers are dickheads and the cover charge sucks too. cool atmosphere, but no ins and outs!!WTF? Lots of girls, sometimes a lil too crowded, but the only reason that Im rating Ruby Skye 3 stars is because they have some big name DJs there and a good sound system..............sometimes.
by kyle c. on whos hating on this place? i loved it. really fun environment with cool people from all walks, there was no "scene" there. just all kinds of people dancing, drinking and having a good time. we went here our first night in austin and friday after acl. the first night i dont know what the cover charge was thanks to a buddy knowing some people but the bar had free drinks all night... is this something normal for ausin? i never herd of it before out here bt pu that with 6 bands ( good bands to they all were pretty sick)on 2 stages and i wouldn't complain about almost any cover. friday was more of a normal club night like im used to still a good time though drinks were cheap and dj was good. best part is with 2 patios and 3 bars and 1 inside room its pretty much all a dance floor and almost everyone is moving. good vibes no random dudes standin on the walll stare'n at everyone. overall a good time stop by if your in town
by Belkis Allessi on A good time! Dj's have been legit and when celebrating my birthday at a booth got sparklers which was a fun twist. Crowd was cool hipsters. Fun to eat upstairs at STK and walk down.
