Don't know too much about SF nightlife nowadays- seems like there are new spots that are the up and comings and aside from birthdays and organized gatherings I don't consider myself a club/lounge-goer. That said, EVE is my go-to if such an occasion hits. ie Friends from out of town, once in a blue moon all-girls night, or just good timing with the boys and girls. A couple of months ago during V-day weekend, some girlfriends and I decided to celebrate life by getting ourselves a table. We were well taken care of. This place has got it all- pretty and speed-efficient lady bartenders, creative drinks, and djs that spin hip hop and old school. There usually isn't a cover too. The crowd leans on the 25+ crowd. What more can I say? I like. I like a lot!

When I first heard about the prices for this place, I walked in exxpecting to pay a huge amount of money. But it turns out that you get what you pay for-it was a great experiene! I wouldn't call it "overpriced", because that would mean the service you get doesn't match the price tag. The staff was really friendly- it was packed that night, and even though me and my friend didn't have a reservation, the hostess seated us in a matter of seconds. Drinks were supurb-strong and generous. We didn't get appetizers, but I got the salmon for an entree and that was delicious. Service was quick, but the absolute best thing was the atmosephere- a huge buddha in the center of the restaurant, dim lighting, great music made it a perfect evening. The only reason i gave it 4/5 was because of our waiter-he was a little awkward. Definetley try this place, at least once!

I know that I been a homebody lately. I meant I found my man and now I am comfy being a homemaker kinda thing. But there are times I wanna just let loose. I went because my friend's boyfriend was throwing a party at this joint. It was for some hairstylist that's going to be on the show Split Ends. Get there early. I was there around 10 and it was packed and the line was long. But thank goodness my friend was throwing the party, we skip the line and cover. Woot woot! Felt like VIP. The music was awesome, and my friends had a great time. It was just a little too crowded, but I guess that goes with the territory!
