by Quentin Brisendine on This place gets 4 stars for Dine About Town prices, but I don't know if I could go for a regularly priced day. The place doesn't look like much when you see it from the outside, but once you walk in, it immediately becomes trippy. My friend and I chilled at the bar for a bit while we waited for them to open the doors to the main room. The "a night in Beirut" or whatever the drink was called was pretty good. A nice refreshing beer cocktail drink. Once you walk into the dining area, it starts to remind me a little of Pure in LV with the all white room and pink lights. My friend also mentioned that before I came here, so that might have swayed me too, but it was a really interesting set up. The room was surrounded by a wall-to-wall length bed and some tables in the middle. I wonder how people end up at the table because I think that would be a totally different experience than the bed. Food was okay/good, but not great. I think my favorite dish was the carrot ginger soup with crab meat served in a doggie bowl (that was a lil weird). The chicken dish was so-so and the dessert was interesting, some kind of burnt french toast dipped in some kinda orange egg sauce. Definitely haven't had something like that before We also experienced three shows which were...entertaining to say the least. The girl doing the cirque du soleil stuff was sweeet. Dinner and a show for $35 is worth the visit to this unique dining experience. Don't think I'd pay $65 and you'd have to go with a group of friends for a celebration. Not too big of a group though cause it could get a little uncomfortable and crowded...
by Michael G. on As soon as I walked in, I thought out was in one of the chic bars in New York City that was completely modern and pricey-looking. It's a good place to sit down and relax with your friends while actual waitresses serve you drinks. It's lively and a fun place to be at.
