by Jacob H. on I liked how there are many dance floors to this place, and each one has supposedly a different style of music. I don't like how I have to walk a gazillion steps of stairs to go from the bottom to the top dance floor. I wonder how girls do it in their heels.. it's really just a disaster waiting to happen especially when the night is over and people are drunk off their asses trying to come down. I've witnessed girls falling down on the stairs too many times. A shot of patron isn't even a shot. They pour it into this big glass so you think it's a shot, but really, it's like half of a shot. It also costs $12. This place is just ok. If it wasn't for the awesome friends that I came with I wouldn't have come here at all.
by Edward I. on They need to expand it by 20-30 feet on all sides to make the place more comfortable. Located 1 block north of the 1 train off the Houston station. It's a little cramped and the music is loud because of it. 5 bucks before 7PM and 10 bucks after. Fridays are "Free Salsa Lessons" night from 7-8. The food is actually decent, try their chicken wings and the empanada looking thing, forgot what it's called but it has cheese and the other beef or chicken. But, I'd go there for drinks. The dance instructors or drunk guys/gals usually pull you from the table so you can dance. If you get there at 7PM, you'll know how to dance salsa by 10PM. Good place to hang with friends before continuing the night at a club.
