by travis c. on Attended Sunday brunch here and had Huevos con Chorizo w/ refried beans and potatoes. The chips and salsa are mediocre and the service is slow even though they weren't that busy. My order came out and it was nothing special. The tortillas were good. My eggs, beans and potatoes were plain and satisfying enough. I could have made a better breakfast at home, but I'm lazy sometimes. There was a band that I enjoyed listening to because I had to. They were so damn loud I kept checking to see if they'd snuck up and were playing at my table. I love classical guitar music as much as the next guy but no need play so loud that my huevos vibrate.
by Dann Jason on I've only eaten at SFU about a dozen times and I don't eat seafood, so this will be a brief and very focused review. My focus is on the greatest hamburger ever created by any man on this planet. SFU is mainly known for its seafood, so not very many people know that Yahweh, Buddha, Zeus, Odin, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and Shiva gathered together to use their mighty powers to create the hamburger that is now served at SFU. You KNOW it has to be good when you're at a seafood restaurant and when you order the burger the server's eyes get big and they say, "Oh yeah, VERY nice choice!" Get it with the chips. Combined with the burger you have a combination unable to be defeated even if Mumm-Ra, Skeletor, King Koopa, Shredder, Dr. Doom, Wiley E. Coyote, Gargamel, and all the Decepticons in the Transformers universe came together to battle you. With this burger and chips combo you have the combined power of He-Man's Sword of Power, the Force, a Power Pellet, Jackie Chan, Optimus Prime's battle canon, and Voltron. That's how good this burger is to me and I doubt you'll disagree. The wait can be a bit long in the evening, but I swear it's worth sitting around to taste this.
