by Carolyn N. on Mezzanine is so legit! I've been there twice. Sick live visual projections, bomb DJs, and more upscale than some places, without being $$$! I think cocktails were like $7. Careful, credit card minimum is $15! A great crowd all the time, and it gets crowded but it's such a big space you won't feel too claustrophobic. They have a smoking patio, and upstairs, and 2 bars (one is upstairs). Everyone was friendly and I wanted to stay even longer. It can be hard to get a drink and the time I went to see Chromeo there was a huge line, but if you get tix ahead of time then hey I wouldn't foresee a problem.
by Justina Googe on I've been here several times and two things never fail to amaze me: 1. the elevator. 2. korean-ness 3. dark dark dark That pretty much sums it up. It's like a Korean cult up there, low key yes but pretentious only if you know what it really is. It's an ok place to hang out with friends but only if you happen to walk nearby. It's not a destination, but a way you pass through to something better and more exciting.
