went here for my bf's birfday last year. fun times with friends, awesome music, loud, and absolutely amazing fried chicken. the best fried chicken SF has to offer. i am being very serious. and the biscuits were little puffs of perfection, too. loved it when the musician came out into the crowd. got him to sing happy birthday lol. fantastic drinks. easy location.

Wow. If you listen to any review, hear this one! Dropped a bunch on dinner. Horrible. At these prices, I would expect it to be edible; just barely. It was mostly bland, which they tried to counter with salt. I had access to both clubs (upstairs and downstairs) and they both suck. Downstairs smelled liked sweaty balls and was overly crowded. The upstairs was not as packed as the downstairs and the air conditioner actually worked. Music was horrible. The DJ was feelin his mixes way more than anyone else was. Left around 1245ish. Music on both floors continued to downward spiral. On top of this, atmosphere and crowd was wack and bar staff was less than A1. Avoid this place. Really wanted to like, but had nothing to work with.

I see there is a page for Cosmo and a page for Lava, but my review applies to both.  Cosmo-Lava is what I thought it was called.  Anyway, went with a few friends on a Saturday night after trying the Twisted Taco.  I liked Cosmo-Lava much better.  The drinks were cheap.  I remember cashing out before I left and saying, "Is that all?"  There was lots of beautiful young women, although I brought my own.  We did some dancing, even though I'm terrible and I hate it.  Then we grabbed a table on the patio and chilled out for awhile.  I won't be going very often because I'm old and I can't dance, but it's a pretty cool place.
