Had the tuna tartar app, the local greens with lavendar salad dressing (YUM) and the duck entree and everything was amazing. A wonderful staff, hip decor and over all quality of this place makes it an Atlanta best. Be sure to check out their other venture, the Sound Table, for another quality experience as well.
by Maida Delgato on Stan is the man. I had a great experience planning my boyfriend's surprise birthday party there. I sent Stan my guest list, and everyone got in without a problem or having to pay a cover, even though the place was pretty packed the whole time we were there. When I went to introduce myself to Stan at the bar, he even treated my boyfriend and me to shots of petron. Besides the obvious high marks Bob Bar gets for its service and lack of pretension, it's a really fun place! Great music, energetic crowd, affordable drinks, and the perfect levels of sound (as a rateclubser below pointed out, you can comfortably hold conversations while dancing - pretty amazing). The fans also did a great job keeping the packed and tiny space cool and ventilated. Highly recommended!
by Dale K. on Our company rented out this joint for a private party... so my review is biased. After all... free booze and appy's? But in terms of the venue itself, I totally digged the stage area ... the dance floor was a great size.. even to accomodate 100's of Euro's dancing to the sounds of "Groove is in the Heart". The waitresses here are SMOKIN'.... and I'm sure I didn't have on my beer goggles either.
