Such a fun, virbrant restaurant for a Friday night! Pure Taqueria offers complimentary valet , always a plus! They have a huge bar in the center of the restuarant with a variety of margaritas on the menu- I had the Skinny Margarita- delicious if you love tequila! Some of the walls are garage doors, so when the weather is nice, they roll them up allowing the breeze in! Dinner was great- I had the tilapia tacos, you get 3 plus rice and beans for $9... the tacos were served with 2 fried filets of tilapia on each taco, a spicy coleslaw, and a verde salsa! I gobbled up 1.5 tacos and was stuffed- you could definitely split this with a friend! I highly recommend Pure Taqueria as a go-to fun Friday hang out!

Mighty was the venue for a GeekSession, last Tuesday. GeekSession is an hour or so of lectures and presentations on a selected theme: for the month it was how to build a web infrastructure faster and cheaper. I loved the wall-to-wall masonry of red bricks - an inundation of bricks and installation art. I would not be able to assess this place as a club per se, since I have not been to Mighty on a live band or DJ night. Suffice it to say, three years ago, after a Stanford lecture, one of my girlfriends attended a Charity Fund Raiser and danced the night away to the live music of: Black Eyed Peas. From my standpoint it was a wonderful work venue where I reunited back with the best of the OG rateclubsers such as Lisa G and Jordan M. Less one star because my crush was a no-show. But then again, my crush is like the elusive Mr. Big; by the time he awakens to the realization that I am meant for him, I will be long gone.

Our company rented out this joint for a private party... so my review is biased. After all... free booze and appy's? But in terms of the venue itself, I totally digged the stage area ... the dance floor was a great size.. even to accomodate 100's of Euro's dancing to the sounds of "Groove is in the Heart". The waitresses here are SMOKIN'.... and I'm sure I didn't have on my beer goggles either.
