This review is on the club only, I did not eat the food there. Okay, so I love that there is a Supper Club in San Francisco and that they play dance music and bring in such awesome DJs. But, I don't get the layout it feels disconnected. When you walk in the bar is right in the way, you cannot walk straight through you have to go either to the right or left, which is odd. Also, in the main room the layout is even strange. I don't feel the DJ booth should be on the floor, it should be elevated right in front so its the first thing you see when you come in. The sound is pretty good and the performances were entertaining. I went there this past Friday for the anniversary and we had a blast, DJ Taj was awesome, bring him back again!

i went to Avalon while Fischerspooner was playing there. i bought tickets beforehand, but still had to wait in line for about half hour. The interior was alright, big dance floor but nothing fancy. The drinks are a bit expensive but nothing outrageous, i got 4 amf"adios motherfucker" and it cost $10 each. The crowd was alright, not as bad as some of the other reviews, but the age group is pretty diverse, anywhere from 18-35. its not the best in LA, but i would totally come back again.

Can't add much new but: The BBQ is good but not as good as when you walk past the smoking pit at the original location to get to your table. It is much more difficult to BYO at the airport, what with, liquid restrictions and all. Note that the Bock beer you've never seen that advertises "MADE IN TEXAS," is brewed there...by Anheuser Busch! About as good as airport food can get.
