by Dylan .. on Rolled in here mid-afternoon after Power to the Peaceful. It was nearly abandoned, as was my hope upon entering. After we got a TV tuned to the game we wanted to watch we started getting accosted by older drunken Irish guys. Friend: Where the f**k are all the girls? Drunk 65 y/o Irishman: I used to be a woman! *hugs friend and extends an enormous hairy leg over friend's lap* Drunk 55 y/o Irishman: Yeah! *high-fives everyone at table, spittle flying everywhere* Meanwhile, there was some kind of really weird 3-way PDA between two older woman and an angry looking guy hogging the dartboard all afternoon. I can't think of any reason to go back, except that being able to tune the TV to the security camera was interesting.
by Dana Sattlefield on i like this place! not quite a dive, but not quite a fancy. not too big or too small. the bartenders are usually pretty nice & the drinks are ok (and not too pricey!) the music is usually good too & the crowd is casual. overall a nice weho watering hole :)
