Went here for a birthday party.. we got a package rate which included "table service" inside the "Fun House", a bottle of goose with mixers, and a huge pineapple drink called the "dunk tank drink" - (tasted delciously tropical). I heard there was alcohol in it.. but def didn't taste any. Goes down smooth. Games and other drinks sold seperately. Ouside of the fun house there are lots of freaks (and geeks). A clown on stilts... who later juggled, and the dirty baloon transgender lady were somewhat entertaining. The carnival games themselves weren't very difficult, except for the ring toss on the bottle neck. I swear that one is rigged. Everything else seemed legit. The guy in the dunk tank was douchey... I guess that makes him good at his job, but in the real world it makes him an asshole. The lady dancers up top were OK, but not interactive. Overall it's a nice change of pace, but nothing really makes me want to go back.
by Emery Obannion on Oh my God, I can't believe it! No really, I can't believe it! I found a place, on SUNSET BOULEVARD, that had: 1) No line! 2) Normal people inside! 3) No cover charge (before 10 pm) 3) Friendly bouncers! 4) Some seriously amazing architecture. 5) The best live entertainment I have seen since Cirque de Soliel! Really, im still in shock. I mean, okay, I came here for a UCLA Grad school night, so Im scared that it was fixed to make me happy, but honestly, IM GOING BACK! When you walk inside, you get the feeling like "wait, am I in las vegas?" Cabanas all around, I sat down in one (which im pretty sure was supposed to be bottle service), but since i sat on the reserved sticker (um yeah, im sly like that), nobody kicked me out! Wow! As you can see from the pics, this place is HUGE. When I go to a bar, instead of dancing I always do a few laps around too see what there is to offer, then head back to the crew. This was like my dream! Little side rooms to adventure into, bar outside, at least three bars inside to choose from, upstairs, downstairs, outside again, inside again, and....right back to my pseudo-VIP booth! So the live entertainment is really what got me hooked. They have those girls hanging from the cieling in hoola-hoops/ribbon-dancing things, then really crazy breakdancers every half hour or so! Then just when you think it cant get better, A half naked man on STILTS comes out! Friday night he happened to be wearing angel wings and red suspenders for valentines day, i think? So before your like, wow, im heading there right now, there is one thing to top it all off. Besides the great music, besides the vegas clubbish coolness, before you leave for the night, there will be a BIG explosion of confetti, as if you won the superbowl. Sold.
