by MiKA D. on Met friends here for Thursday HH. Heard it's John Colin's new bar and thought they did an amazing job with the decor. They carry Chopin. Yeay! Decor was dark and ambient and feels so roaring 20s. From what I recall, they played good music.
by Sal Schulthess on I've been here several times and two things never fail to amaze me: 1. the elevator. 2. korean-ness 3. dark dark dark That pretty much sums it up. It's like a Korean cult up there, low key yes but pretentious only if you know what it really is. It's an ok place to hang out with friends but only if you happen to walk nearby. It's not a destination, but a way you pass through to something better and more exciting.
by Logan A. on My review is specific to the restaurant, I did not stay for the club transition (which, given the below reviews, I'm thinking was a good call), and the food, service, and atmosphere were phenomenal. I would rank this 2nd behind Bukhara Grill in terms of the best Indian food I've had in NYC - very authentic, appropriate spice level, and not greasy or heavy in the least. Bummer that it's getting a bad rep for the club...running a club and a restaurant are two very different endeavors, perhaps they should focus on their core business and turn it into more of a lounge after-hours, ditch the loud and apparently ill-equipped DJs for more punjabi chill music :)
