by Jason L. on Alot can be said of a restaurant on how they are on Mothers day. You know you want to go out but it can be harsh on that day. That said, Maggianos was awesome! I went there with my wife, my Mother, Father and my kids. The wait wasnt as long as expected. Our waiter Elliot was so great and attentive. We had our heart set on certain dishes and ended up getting totally different things. My kids were made a part of the experience by Elliot who listened intently to all their questions and answered them as if he was catering to only them. Most waiters brush off kids and act as if they arent there. My wife and mother were treated like goddesses on "their day". The food was awesome. Elliot suggested the chicken tortallaci for us and it was great. When we had 4 large dishes of food, Elliot was right there with large utencils and plates for us so that we could share everything. We arent afficinados (sp) of wine and Elliot seemed to know everything about all the wines they had and got us different wines for each dish and they were perfect. Twice during the meal Matt the manager came by to see how everything was and genuinely seemed to care that our meal was enjoyable. Dessert. The entree sizes are huge, the desserts are as well! The cheesecake was out of this world. They had a berry tirimisu that was wonderful but Elliot said that it was only for a short time as a dish for the Make a wish foundation. (They should consider keeping it) The entire experience was memorable and it being mothers day that is what you hope for and dont expect to recieve. The food was awesome, the service was superb, (Elliot kept the table clean and used a crumber to even keep the crumbs off the table which my son was facinated with) At the end of the meal he brought roses to my wife and mother and a crumber to my son! Even in the domain you dont expect to get service like that. My family will certainly be back and people looking for an awesome dining experience reading this should go! If the food stays as it is and the staff there are all as impressive as Elliot and Matt you better make a reservation because they will be packed for a long time to come!

In December 2007, a patron knowingly purchased a $350 bottle of vodka, but was not told of a 3 bottle minimum. At the end of the night, he was presented with a $1050 tab that included two unordered bottles. When he refused to pay, the Arena bouncers beat him up. The patron agreed to get money from an ATM. The bouncers escorted him two blocks to the ATM, where his debit card was declined. The bouncers then dragged him back to the bar, where he was held until police arrived.
