AMBIENCE: Your choice of outdoor lounge or indoor dining **If you dine later as we did ( 9:30pm) be prepared for loud music around 10:30pm. So I would suggest to LA Vida to WAIT until their guests are done with their diner before they play loud music ( or notify the guests ) FOOD: Appetizers.: *Tuna ceviche, taro root, purple peruvian potato chips *Baked fresh black cod, verde sauce, potato, serrano ham ...a delight Main Dish: all Excellent *Champagne braised branzino, arroz negro and spinach *Paella .. a must.. : *Mixed chicken and seafood Paella *Clam, chorizo and cilantro Paella *10oz seared flat iron steak sofrito, fingerling potatoes * Wine: go for a more expensive wine.. and you wont be disappointed Desert: Excellent .. Chocolate Mousse with Lavender SERVICE; Excellent !!!( Thank you to our server, Mirage )- we will be back !
by Brittani Munuz on If you loved the Plush Room @ the York, make sure you visit its new incarnation at the Hotel Nikko. The official Rrazz space will debut in two weeks, but is already operating in temporary quarters upstairs. They provided a sneak-peak at the soon-to-be-completed venue for interested (read: nosy) patrons following Spencer Day's performance on Friday night (he was awesome, BTW), and it is going to be SO cool. Much larger (which makes it easier for the staff to be attentive during shows, unlike at the old space) and far more sophisticated -- and this is coming from someone who has been a HUGE fan of the Plush for years. Bottom line ... fear not, fellow cabaret lovers, our team just has a new name and a better stadium!
