I've only been here once but it was pretty majestic. My date and I randomly stumbled in here while searching for places to grab a drink. I was skeptical of the Martuni's/ martini gimmick... but it's actually a legitimate place to get a martini, especially if you want a girly martini. And to our surprise, there was this whole romantic back room with a piano and really engaged clientele. Our bartender was so friendly, and the woman playing piano that night did some really fun covers (MGMT and Lady Gaga) in addition to her broadway repertoire. It's not your typical bar scene -- it's far more awesome than that.

Can't really review the inside as we never got in. They, like others have said, purposely hold up the guest list line. Waited since about 1015 and weren't anywhere near getting in at 11, when the list "closes." the group in front of us ended up leaving, too. if you want to get in free from the list, i guess i would recommend getting there at least at 930? we went on a saturday.

webster hall is big, the venue is nice, the crowd is young and sexy. let me emphasize YOUNG. im in my mid twenties now but the kids that're there look barely 18.  i felt a bit...out of place.  no worries i look really young so...i was okay.  plus i spent most of my time upstairs where...the older people hung out. i've heard a lot of things about the venue.  a lot of things about the crowd...young, slutty, trashy...blah blah blahs... but i mean...the place itself wasnt that bad.  i was there for my dj.  and it was big so there was room to dance.  the little stairwell with all the flat screens around was kind of fun.  i think the problem i have with webster hall is that im not into huge top 40 clubs like that.  because thats what its geared up for.  the main floor was top 40 playing a lot of hip hop and rnb.  the upstairs was house music for my djs. the drinks were...a bit over priced but its manhattan and a top 40 club.  it was 20 bucks for two red bull and vodkas.  10 bucks for two waters. mm...webster hall.  eh, okay i guess.
